Ragamala Paintings, are Indian miniature paintings created by artists across the country between the 15th to the 19th century; Ragamala paintings embody a Raga or a musical melody, that find mention in some of the ancient texts of music and painting. With exquisite iconography, the Ragamala paintings ranging from Kangra in the North to the Deccan in Central India - are an exquisite artistic visualisation of a musical melody.
